COCHRANE POSSE

Black Stetsons and clean white shirts set off by the glint of a shiny badge while nestled atop a horse-its the historical picture of those who tried to tame the Wild West.

Fast-forward to today and the cowboys are looking for a few good riders to be the proud bearers of the Cochrane Posse Badge.  We are the “Town Marshal’s” who keep the peace, protect the innocent, corral the outlaws and rescue damsels in distress.

We ride for fun!

Black boots and jeans, white shirts with a black vest, black Stetson and chaps.  Gun belts and the Posse badge with the horse and rider on the five point star.

A sense of humor and a horse are a must!

COCHRANE POSSE

AND THE

NORTH WEST MOUNTED PATROL

The North West Mounted Patrol are a group of local horseback riders who have taken history one step further.  3 members of the group wear North West Mounted Police uniforms dating back to the1880s and 90s.  These members have been authorized in writing by the Commanding Officer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Alberta to wear these uniforms at public appearances throughout Alberta.  Their Police and Military background makes this a natural fit.  The other uniformed member of our group portrays Jerry Potts, the first Native Scout of the North West Mounted Police.  The remainder of our group are the Cochrane Posse. These are our Town Marshals.  They keep the peace, protect the innocent, corral the outlaws and rescue damsels in distress.

No charge for our appearance in Parades or

Municipal Celebrations although donations to cover expenses are greatly appreciated.

We will attend functions throughout Southern Alberta.

Meet and Greet appearances for Corporate

functions are also attended.

Give us a call..we will be there!
